PADI Open Water Referral E-Learning
How Does It Work?
Anything that you complete through a PADI dive center or resort is recognized globally by any PADI dive center. So complete all your theory and pool work back home and simply join us in the ocean to finish your certification.
Our PADI instructors try to make the classroom side of the course as fun and engaging as possible but who really wants to be stuck inside when you have clear blue skies outside? By completing the theory and pool sessions in your home country, you can join us straight for the real fun part – the open water dives.
You’ll free up and an extra day on your holiday, the Open Water referral only takes two days. The pools are probably heated and indoor back home. So you won’t have an uncomfortable experience but the open ocean maybe won’t be as warm or as clear as Phuket.
What You Need To Bring
You’ll need to bring the student record file that your dive center gave you. Make sure your instructor has signed for completion on your pool/theory sessions. If you completed the theory via e-learning then you can print out the PADI completion email.
There is a one-year validity of all that you’ve completed. Make sure you’ve got your timing right or you may have to repeat it all again…
So what are you waiting for? Get started at your local dive center and then come and join us to finish this awesome experience!
The Easiest Way
To stop any confusion with certification fees the best option is to register for PADI eLearning either through the PADI website or through a PADI dive center. The PADI eLearning is transferable to any dive center so it can be processed anywhere.
If you prefer the hands-on instructor approach then enrolling in theory sessions with your local dive center is easy enough. Although, you’ll usually have to follow a schedule which may not be 100% convenient for you.
