On the morning of your visit to the elephant jungle sanctuary Phuket, you will be allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed to the elephants, you will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.
After you have met all the elephants, you will accompany them to a nearby mud spa. Get muddy with the elephants as you apply a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. Next, you will walk with the elephants to a nearby pool. Then you’ll join them in the water for a refreshing bath. Take a swim, help bathe and brush the elephants while they wade through and play in the water.
Once the elephants are clean, you can take some final photos with them, and then it will be time to part ways with your new friend and change into some dry clothes. Finally, enjoy a delightful Thai buffet before saying one last goodbye to your new friends before being driven back to your hotel.
About Our Sanctuary
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is a final home for retired working elephants, set on 30 acres of the lush tropical jungle. Observe how elephants rehabilitate into forest life after decades of abuse and experience how incredible the largest land mammal on earth is during a day at our sanctuary.
Our mission is to provide as many elephants as possible with good health, freedom, and happiness they truly deserve. We use our progressive and ethically responsible approach to elephant eco-tourism as a platform to raise awareness and educate people from Thailand and around the world about elephant care and the plight of the Asian elephant.
However, at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket, we enforce a strict NO RIDING policy. We do not make our elephants work or perform, or do any activity outside their natural behaviors.
